A single cask release from the now closed Imperial distillery in Speyside, by independent bottler Adelphi. Distilled in 1996, matured for 27 years in a refill bourbon barrel and bottled in 2023. Only 187 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural cask strength of 52.4%.

Nose: Ripe pear, green banana, mixed tropical fruits, shortbread, strawberry, clover honey, waxed jacket, coriander seed, theatrical make-up.

Palate: Parma violet, ski wax, meringue, chocolate Nesquik mix, dried raspberries, hazelnut skin, honey-roasted cashew, angelica root.

Finish: Long, well-balanced, luxurious.
