A single cask release from the Ardmore distillery in the Highlands, bottled by Adelphi independent bottlers. Distilled in 2016, matured for 7 years in a refill Oloroso sherry butt and bottled in 2024. Only 634 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural cask strength of 61.1%.

Nose: Buttery, fake vanilla, wet bung cloth, hessian sack, butter popcorn, damp November evening, coal fire, old bothy damp floor, toasted marshmallow, damp waxed jacket, early morning fishing trip.

Palate: Sharp, rusty fence, light and balanced sulphur, balanced, appealingly jagged mid-palate, tart blackberry, unripe fruit, smoked cedar, bonfire, extra mature crumbly cheddar, crunchy salt, parmesan, panfried sausage, griddled meat.

Finish: Minerallic, slate, streamside hike in the Highlands.
