Kamiki is a unique blended malt whisky made using Japanese malt whiskies combined with specially selected malt whiskies from around the world. After blending, the whisky is finished in casks made from yoshino-sugi (often referred to as "Japanese cedar"). It's a particularly aromatic type of wood, and Kamiki is said to be the first whisky ever to enjoy a yoshino-sugi cask finish. Kamiki Sakura Wood is created in the same style as the original blend, however, experiences a second finishing period in Japanese sakura (cherry blossom) tree casks. Bottled at 48%. Nose: Cherry candy with ripe banana, chestnuts, and cinnamon on the nose.

Palate: Woodiness, sandalwood and gentle spice, before sweet Sakura pedals.

Finish: Spicy cherry with savoury notes, leading to a floral, spring like finish.
