A blended whisky produced from 86% grain and 14% barley, Tenjaku is double-distilled in copper pot stills. Matured in ex-Kentucky bourbon barrels, Master Distiller Kenji Watanabe then creates the blend from three-, five- and six-year old whiskies. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Faint smoky accent. Sweet aroma, redolent of pear and dried fruit. 

Palate: Well-rounded and mellow. 

Finish: Slightly spicy. A long finish with a hint of white oak and a spreading sweetness. 

A purportedly new Japanese whisky, but very likely to in fact be a "world whisky" that contains whiskies produced in multiple countries (including Japan) that are blended and bottled in Japan.
