Tullamore D.E.W. was first introduced in 1829 when the original distillery was established in Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland. Created by Michael Molloy and later managed by Daniel E. Williams, whose initials (D.E.W.) are part of the brand's name, Tullamore D.E.W. is produced from a blend of three types of whiskey: malt, grain, and single pot still whiskey. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and ex-sherry butts. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Light and sweet with notes of vanilla, fresh fruit, and toasted wood.
Palate: Smooth and gentle complexity with flavours of early spice, followed by toasted wood, vanilla, and hints of sweet fruit.
Finish: Medium length with a pleasant warmth and lingering sweetness.
