DESCRIPTION

Launched in 2021, Caravelle 10yo is a blended whiskey from Limerick-based independent Irish whiskey bottler Sailor’s Home, and the second release in their The Islands Series. Named for the sailing ship used for long voyages of exploration in the 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries, Caravelle is crafted from Irish malt and grain whiskeys, matured for at least 10 years in American oak ex-bourbon casks and finished in rhum agricole casks from Martinique. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Pineapple, savannah grass, demerara sugar.

Palate: Fat creamy toffee, sugar cane, blood orange, liquorice.

Finish: Candied bananas.
