DESCRIPTION

Launched in 2020, Horizon 10yo is a blended whiskey from Limerick-based independent Irish whiskey bottler Sailor’s Home, released as part of their The Islands Series. Crafted from Irish malt and grain whiskeys, matured for at least 10 years in American oak ex-bourbon casks and finished in specially-selected ex-Barbados rum casks. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Butterscotch and peach on a restrained nose.

Palate: Lifted, forward palate of apricot jam, banana and vanilla cream.

Finish: With a long finish of cereals and baking spice.
