Made from a blend of grape varietals that include Chardonnay (45% - among the highest in its class), Pinot Noir (over 40%), Pinot Meunier (15%) and reserve wines at least 10% and sometimes over 20% to ensure perfect consistency. The blend is made from more than 55 crus. A minimum of 3 years’ ageing, more than double that of the average appellation. The wine is then dosed with a liqueur made up from cane sugar dissolved in wine from the same cuvée. Bottled at 12%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: An intense and rich nose with notes of dried fruit (almonds and hazelnuts) as well as toasted or grilled aromas. After a few years of ageing, the nose evolves towards deeper notes of honey and pine resin.

Palate: Full-bodied and generous, it is a rich wine with a rounded feel. Lovely notes of peaches and apricots stand out.

Finish: Lovely vibrancy balanced with a nutty creamy lingering finish.
