Originally created in 1869, Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut is produced from a blend of more than 100 different wines, of which 20-30% are reserve wines that reflect the diversity and complementarity of the three main grape varieties: Pinot Noir (30-40%), Pinot Meunier (30-40%), and Chardonnay (20-30%). Matured for 24 months in the cellars as well as a minimum ageing period of 3 months after disgorgement. Residual sugar: 7g/l. Bottled at 12%. (Bottle size 750ml)
Nose: Nose: Green apple, citrus, lime and orange blossom. The striking intensity of these fruity notes is immediately followed by a wave of mineral freshness and white flowers. Then, the blonde nuances of brioche, cereals and fresh nuts hint at elegant maturity.
Palate: Generous and tasty, white fruit notes including pear, white peach and apple, unfurl on the palate, in the company of fine, light bubbles.
Finish: The sweet liveliness of citrus lingers delicately in the mouth.
The Moët & Chandon Champagne House was founded in 1743 by Claude Moët, a visionary wine merchant, who quickly made it a name among the European courts. A few years later, his grandson, Jean-Rémy Moët, developed the house's international reputation. Owned by the LVMH group since 1987, the house produces unique vintages from a meticulous selection of Champagne terroirs that are renowned worldwide for their quality and appealing character.
