Hope Distillery

Established in 2014, Hope Distillery was the first licensed small batch distillery to open in Cape Town. Co-founders Leigh Lisk and Lucy Beard threw caution to the wind and abandoned successful corporate law careers in London to follow their hearts. Originally from South Africa, they headed back to sunny shores to pursue something they were truly passionate about - distillation.

All Hope spirits (a range of gins, vodka, an agave spirit and a rum) are distilled on site using both copper pot and stainless steel stills. The distillery not only creates its own spirits, but is also a market leader in contract distillation, producing other top-selling local gin brands.
