More from Hunter Laing Independent Bottler
A single cask release from the Bruichladdich distillery on Islay, by family-owned, Scotch whisky distiller, blender and independent bottler Hunter Laing in their First Editions Authors' Series, a range paying tribute to great writers of years past. This release features Jules Verne, a French author whose works include Around the World in 80 Days, Journey to the Centre of the Earth and Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. Distilled in October 1990, matured for 25 years in a refill hogshead and bottled in September 2016. Only 140 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 48.6%.
