Launched in 2022, this small batch release from The Glenlivet distillery in Speyside is part of The Sample Room Collection, a range that pays homage to the distillery's tasting room, where experts decide on the final composition of all its whiskies. Matured for 25 years, including a finishing period in first-fill Pedro Ximenez sherry and Troncais oak Cognac casks. Bottled at 43%.
Nose: Chocolate ganache, plum jam and Manuka honey give way to fresh lemon zest, toasted cinnamon and orange blossom.
Palate: Flavours of sweet fig and blood orange are complemented by warming ginger, toasted oak and a hint of charred pineapple.
Finish: Long and sweet with gentle spice notes.
