Clynelish is the successor to Brora which closed in 1983 and is built opposite the original distillery. This lightly peated 14 year old single malt is the flagship expression from the Highland distillery. Bottled at 46%.

Nose: Wax comes up with water – scented candle wax. Dried flowers on a beach. Later, brown sugar.

Palate: Pleasant creamy mouthfeel; maritime generally.

Finish: Some salt, dryish yet an attractive, even slightly bitter finish.
