A single cask release from the Craigellachie distillery in Speyside, by family-owned, Scotch whisky distiller, blender and independent bottler Hunter Laing in their First Editions range. Distilled in 2006, matured for 14 years in a sherry butt and bottled in 2021. Only 290 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 53%.
Nose: Chocolate and berries.
Palate: Notes of apples, salted caramel, and biscuit.
Finish: The finish is long, with a hint of pepper.
