The rye is made to Dad's Hat classic mashbill recipe consisting of 80% rye, 15% malted barley and 5% malted rye, and then aged for at least six months in charred new oak quarter casks. Bottled at 47%.

Nose: Floral and spicy with a well-balanced.

Palate: Spice, cinnamon and underlying notes of dried fruit and black cherry with hints of tobacco, vanilla and oak.

Finish: Integrated with barrel sweetness, bitter herbs and crushed grain.
