Released in 2007 as part of the annual (and now famous and highly sought after) Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, Eagle Rare 17yo was produced from a mash bill of Kentucky corn, Minnesota rye, and malted barley sourced from North Dakota Distillers. Distilled in 1988, matured for nineteen years in new white oak barrels with #4 char and bottled in 2007. Bottled at 45%.

Nose: The fragrant aroma has almost a wine-like character with hints of almond, cigar boxes and cinnamon.

Palate: The delicate and dry mid-palate tastes of leather, vanilla and tobacco.

Finish: This bourbon lingers, finishing with hint of leather and toffee.
