A single malt Scotch from the Glen Elgin-Glenlivet distillery in Speyside, by Scotland's oldest independent bottler WM Cadenhead, released as part of their Small Batch series, a range bottled from vattings of never more than four casks from a single vintage and distillery. Distilled in 1995, matured for 23 years in ex-bourbon hogsheads and bottled in March 2019. Only 486 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 50.6%.

Nose: Toffee shortbread, cardamom, pecans and white chocolate. Honey, sage and fennel.

Palate: Juicy and syrupy, mangoes, passion fruit, peaches in syrup, maraschino cherries, apricots and lots of thick creamy notes.

Finish: A syrupy fruit bomb with pouring cream and a hint of ginger snap biscuits.
