Part of Diageo's Special Releases for 2016. Distilled in 1991 and matured exclusively in refill European oak butts (a first for an official Glenkinchie release), only 5,928 bottles are available worldwide. Bottled at cask strength of 57.2%.

Nose: Mature and considered. Gentle at first, then soon rich and generous, with tangy top notes of lime and toffee apple then a suggestion of walnuts on a soft, sweet, biscuit layer.

Palate: Smooth textured and warming, with a bittersweet start. Soon becoming spicy and woody, with cedar, banana toffee and vanilla cream.

Finish: Long and warm, with a trace of Szechuan pepper (spicy and mouth-cooling).
