Released in May 2023, Raasay R-01.2 is the fifth batch of the distillery's single malt. Distilled between 16 January 2019 and 27 November 2019, peated and unpeated spirit are matured separately in first-fill rye whiskey casks (65%), virgin Chinkapin oak (25%) and first-fill Bordeaux red wine casks (10%). These six cask types are then married together to create this batch release. Packaged in a bespoke bottle that features fossils and rocks from the island moulded into the glass. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46.4%.
