Founded in 1997, Jefferson's sources new and aged barrels of bourbon to create their own releases. This Reserve release is a blend of up to four different Kentucky straight bourbon whiskies, of different ages, married together. The bourbons used are apparently a lot older than those used in the Small Batch release. Bottled at 45.1%

Nose: Crisp apple and light oak along with caramel, vanilla and a candied fruit undertone.

Palate: Barrel spice and char with an earthy, butterscotch, caramel and with hints of pepper.

Finish: Creamy oak and vanilla. A bit thin but followed by caramel and more apple. Lingers with sweetcorn and butterscotch.
