Launched in 2020 to replace the Nikka 12yo. Nikka Tailored is a blend primarily of malted barley from Miyagikyo in Honshū and Yoichi in Hokkaidō aged in re-made American oak and sherry casks, along with Coffey Still grain whisky. Bottled at 43%.

Nose: Smooth and round with apple, apricot and whitefleshed fruits. Honey, as well as chocolate notes with orange candied peel aromas.

Palate: Pastry marked by vanilla and cake with dark chocolate and citrus zest such as tangerine and orange.

Finish: Chocolate bitterness is counterbalanced by toasted notes with vanilla sweetness and fruity bitterness.
