The Three Ships 9yo Fino Cask Finish is the 2019 and fourth release in the annual Master's Collection. The blend was matured for five years in ex-American oak, followed by an additional four years in ex-Fino sherry casks. Only four casks were used for a total of 2,940 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48.6%.

Nose: Prominent smoke and peat interlaced with figs, pineapple, orange peel, pepper and spice.

Palate: The whisky opens up with peat, treacle syrup, tobacco, spice and a playful nuttiness.

Finish: Long and warm with lingering tropical fruits, almonds and a soft smoky mouthful.
