A single cask release from the Tomatin distillery in the Highlands, by family-owned, Scotch whisky distiller, blender and independent bottler Hunter Laing under their First Editions range. Distilled in 1994, matured for 25 years in a sherry butt and bottled in 2020. Only 402 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 47.9%.&
Nose: Plums, salted caramel and chocolate.
Palate: Smooth with hints of chocolate, nuts, red apples and moss.
Finish: Long, with lingering oak.
