A Blanton's Single Barrel bourbon produced at the famed Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. This particular bottle was dumped on 10 June 1994 from barrel 41 stored in warehouse H on rick no. 40. Individually selected, filtered and bottled by hand at 46.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Normally a 6 to 8 year old bourbon (meaning this was distilled in the 1980s!), all Blanton's releases are aged in Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace, which is the only metal-clad warehouse at the distillery, commissioned for construction by Albert B. Blanton, after whom the whiskey is named. The warehouse was built shortly after prohibition and being metal, transfers heat quicker than brick warehouses, allowing for greater temperature fluctuations which results in more wood interaction.
