Launched in 2021 for duty-free, this whisky started its life as the standard Bain’s Cape Mountain Whisky and spent an additional ten years in older American oak before being transferred to seasoned Amontillado and Manzanilla sherry casks for a final six years maturation. Only three of each sherry cask were selected for the final whisky. A total of 3,920 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 46.8%. (Bottle size 1 litre)

Nose: Sticky toffee pudding, Turkish apricots, sultanas, coconut tea biscuits and hints of flower blossom.

Palate: Cinnamon, almonds and hazelnuts with delightful salted caramel and hints of marmalade.

Finish: Rich, lingering with caramel and spice on the finish.
