More from Dalmore Single Malt Scotch Whisky
First launched in 2018 as part of an annual series celebrating the longstanding partnership between The Dalmore distillery in the Highlands and Douro-based Port producer Graham’s in Portugal, Dalmore 45yo contains some of the distillery’s rarest aged stocks selected by master distiller Richard Paterson. This 2024 release was initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, followed by a period in Cabernet Sauvignon barriques. It is then transferred back into American white oak ex-bourbon casks before maturing in Tawny port pipes that previously held 20 year old port. Finally, it is married with aged whisky matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and aged Port Colheita pipes. Presented in a Baccarat crystal decanter featuring The Dalmore’s Royal Stag emblem, produced by Royal Warrant holder Hamilton & Inches. Bottled at 40%.
