DESCRIPTION

Launched in 2020, Journey is a triple-cask blended whiskey from Limerick-based independent Irish whiskey bottler Sailor’s Home, released as part of their The Explorer Series. Crafted from whiskey matured in virgin American oak casks and finished in bourbon barrels blended with malt whiskey matured in bourbon barrels then finished in Jamaican rum casks. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Butterscotch, toasted oak, dark rum notes.

Palate: Sticky toffee, rum roundness perfectly balanced with malt depth.

Finish: Ripe banana, molasses and vanilla.
