Limerick-based independent Irish whiskey bottler Sailor's Home is named after a 19th-century shelter for seafarers. It currently sources whiskey from Cooley and Great Northern Distillery, with plans for its own distillery. From malt and grain to Irish pot still whiskey, Sailor's Home uses a variety of casks to age its spirits, including bourbon, rum and sherry casks.
Overseen by Dr. Jack Ó'Sé, a renowned whiskey expert with over 40 years of experience, Sailor’s Home released their first whiskeys at the end of 2020. Inside each nautically named bottling is a triple-distilled Irish whiskey bottled non-chillfiltered with detailed maritime-themed packaging reflecting a commitment to transparency.
