DESCRIPTION

Launched in 2022, Stormchaser is the first single malt whiskey from Limerick-based independent Irish whiskey bottler Sailor’s Home, released as part of their The Explorer Series. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks and finished in a combination of Irish stout barrels and Madeira wine casks. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 750ml)

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Cocoa, bittersweet hops, roasted malts.

Palate: Subtle spice, espresso and dark chocolate notes, creamy vanilla and orange peel.

Finish: Treacle, hints of dark fruit.
