Launched in 2019, this is the seventh release in the Timorous Beastie line of blended malts from Douglas Laing to carry an age statement. A limited edition 25 year old that marries whiskies from several undisclosed Highland distilleries, all matured for at least 25 years. Only 1,600 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46.8%.

Nose: A burst of vanilla on the nose with damp oak, tangy marmalade and barley.

Palate: Buttery and mouth-coating with ginger, brown sugar and creamy cereal.

Finish: Long with a home-baking quality, gentle spice, honeycomb and more vanilla sweetness.
