Grapes for the Karibib Estate Chenin Blanc 2024 were harvested from a dryland 40 year old vineyard trellised in a raised bush vine. After harvesting by hand, grapes were whole bunch pressed straight into 500-litre old French barrels, where fermentation took place naturally. Wine was left on course lees for 3 months before racking and spent another 2 months in barrel before bottling. Residual sugar: 1.8g/l. Bottled at 13.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Apricots, peaches and fynbos notes with subtle vanilla and oak notes.

Palate: Mixed soft fruit with spices like cloves and allspice.

Finish: Minerality and great acidity linger on the aftertaste.
