Le Chant Blanc 2023 is a 100% Chenin Blanc from the Polkadraai Hills in Stellenbosch. The vineyards benefit from cooling breezes from the Atlantic Ocean to the south and south-east, ensuring even ripening of the 35 year old vines. Hand-picked grapes are gently handled in the cellar using gravitational flow. The wine undergoes fermentation in small stainless steel tanks, with a portion matured for 8 months in French oak barrels, while the remainder remains in stainless steel and cement tanks. The final blend is carefully assembled before bottling. Residual Sugar: 1.5g/l. Bottled at 13.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Layered aromas of stone fruit and orange blossom are complemented by subtle hints of white apple, creating an inviting and elegant bouquet.

Palate: A full, rich palate unfolds, bursting with notes of tropical fruits like mango and pineapple, alongside ripe peach and apricot. A touch of oak lends softness and a beautifully textured mouthfeel to the mid-palate.

Finish: The finish is refined and elegant, with lovely minerality and refreshing acidity bringing structure and vibrancy to the lingering flavours.
